Free Period Products at Cambridge
Disclaimer:
This page is dedicated to keeping track of what colleges and departments provide free period products to their students. But bear in mind: period products aren't the purview of the university, but of the individual colleges, and are generally maintained by a student representative from the JCR or MCR (sometimes with the support of the SU). Different colleges have different offices, but usually the person in charge is a Welfare Rep or Women's Officer. Unfortunately, this means that this is a shaky system: if your Welfare Rep is a postgrad that lives in Cambridge full time and has the time to maintain the supply, you're in luck. But if they're someone who is frequently out of Cambridge (for example, for the duration of the summer break), and you're not, your supply isn't guaranteed. That's where this page comes in! This way you'll be able to see all the places you can go to get free products.
If there is no information for your college, it doesn't necessarily mean they don't provide free products! The information below has been gathered through a large network of people - if it's not up to date, feel free to write to us, and we will correct it! We always appreciate any feedback you have to make this page as accurate and up-to-date as possible.
In the "Notes" section, you will find supplementary information on the kinds of resources/products colleges provide. We're also working on a list of period products that departments supply, so stay tuned for that!
